Mona the Vampire Wiki

For three years, this wiki has been subjected to vandalism by one person who has over 30 accounts. I've done what I can to fix it and I have attempted to talk to them. They have repeatedly added the same false information and flooded the wiki with unrelated pages, pictures and videos. They also haven't responded to any of the messages. Given that this is the same thing they've done on over dozen other wikis, I expected this would be the case.

In order to stop the disruption to this wiki, I will be adopting it. I don't like having to adopt wikis just to stop vandalism. I'd rather adopt one that matches my own interests. But at this point, I'm best qualified to do it.

To help with this, I've purchased some of the Mona the Vampire DVDs and I have an idea about how to retrieve some of the information from the old website. I try to spruce up the wiki so that others who are fans of Mona's adventures will find a place that has information that helps them learn more instead of seeing a place riddled by vandalism.

This will be a fast-tracked adoption. A recent change to the adoption rules limits them to only one every 90 days. I had another wiki I was ready to adopt this month, but I am putting that aside so I can help this one.

Comments for and against the adoption request can be entered until the evening of Friday, April 16, 2021. There's a few people who have been here since January. They've been notified about this blog.

In the interest of full disclosure, one of my first actions after the adoption is approved is setting permanent blocks on all accounts used by the person committing the vandalism and deleting every page, picture and video they have created. I normally give one last chance after I adopt a wiki to see if they will change their behavior. They never do but they are still given the chance. After three years, it's more than apparent this person will not. My previous messages to them and this blog serve as their last chance.
